I am a fully qualified counsellor with five years counselling experience. I am a registered member of the BACP ( bacp.co.uk ) and I follow their ethical guidelines.
I set up my private practice in Louth, Lincolnshire in 2013 and I also run the counselling service at Franklin College in Grimsby. I work with adults and young people aged 16 and up, covering a wide range of issues including stress, anxiety, depression, relationships, bereavement, loss, self-harm, OCD and many more.
I offer counselling in a calm, confidential space close to the centre of Louth, Lincolnshire.
Counselling is a collaborative process and we will work together to untangle the thoughts and feelings you may be experiencing. We will aim to gain insight into the issues you are dealing with, helping you to better understand what is going on. Everyone is different and the process will move at whatever pace is right for you - I don't set a limit on the number of sessions.
I will not give advice or tell you what to do, but aim to help you find your own way forward. I recognise how daunting it can be to ask for help, so if you would prefer to email me with your contact details then I will get back to you within 24hrs. I also do home visits for clients who find it easier not to travel.
I am continuing to see clients in person in my self-contained counselling room. I have a screen in place to protect against Covid-19 and I disinfect surfaces and air the room in between appointments.
As of March 2020, I am offering online counselling and telephone counselling for those who are unable to leave home. Please contact me for further details.
My availability changes quite a lot so if you are interested in making an appointment, please get in touch - email: firstname.lastname@example.org or telephone/text: 07921662798 and I will do everything I can to find a time that suits us both.
Appointments are for 50 minutes and cost £40.
Please note I do not have toilet facilities available for client use. The nearest public facilities are at The Co-op on Northgate.
